Bạn là một fan cuồng của Jack Atlas - nhân vật có phong cách mạnh mẽ cũng như lối chơi tấn công rực lửa với những chú rồng Red Demon Dragon? Set High-Speed Riders ra mắt tháng 10 và mang đến cho chúng ta rất nhiều Resonator, những Tuner đặc trưng của Jack, đồng thời cả những Red Dragon Archfiend cấp độ mới!

Vậy làm thế nào, những tín đồ của King Jack, có thể tự tin Summon ra những Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss hay Bane và hét lên rằng "KING wa hitori !!! Kono ORE DAAA!"? 

I. Những card chính thuộc Archetype

1. Những Tuner Resonator

Dark Resonator

Once per turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle.

Một Tuner Level 3 cơ bản, có khả năng chịu được một đòn tấn công (dù không hữu dụng lắm trong thời điểm hiện giờ). Điểm mạnh nhất của Dark Resonator là Fiend, Level 3 và mang tên "Resonator": Dark Resonator sẽ là mục tiêu search của Tour Guide, Scarm - Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, Resonator Call.

Red Resonator

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; gain LP equal to its ATK. You can only use this effect of "Red Resonator" once per turn.

Không quá khi nói Red Resonator đã mang tới một luồng gió mới cho Deck! Với effect của một Goblindbergh, khi Normal Summon Red Resonator ta hoàn toàn có thể Synchro Summon ngay lập tức. Red Resonator không chỉ có effect khi Normal Summon mà còn cả effect khi Special Summon: target 1 monster bất kì trên field, tăng điểm gốc bằng số ATK của lá bài đó. Kết hợp cùng với Soul Charge, ta gần như sẽ mất rất ít LP dù hồi sinh 2-3 monster cùng lúc! Một lá bài rất thú vị và các combo liên quan tới nó sẽ được đề cập ở phần sau trong bài viết này.

Synkron Resonator

If a Synchro Monster is on the field, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "Synkron Resonator" once per turn this way. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 "Resonator" monster in your Graveyard, except "Synkron Resonator"; add it to your hand.

Synkron Resonator là mảnh ghép còn lại giúp hoàn chỉnh Deck. Resonator này có thể Special Summon xuống field khi có Synchro Monster trên bàn - một điều không quá khó đối với các Deck tập trung Synchro. Với Synkron Resonator, những Red Wyvern, Vulcan the Divine, Goyo Guardian của bạn được nâng cấp lên thành Moonlight Rose, Clear Wing; những Moonlight Rose, Clear Wing được nâng cấp thành Stardust Spark, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend; và quan trọng nhất, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend có cơ hội hóa thành Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss!

Thông thường khi Synchro Summon ta sẽ bị "-1"; tuy nhiên với Synkron Resonator, ta có thể lấy lại những Resonator dưới mộ khi lá bài này được dùng để Synchro: đảm bảo cho ta không bị hết Tuner và chuẩn bị cho những nước bài ở các turn kế.

Chain Resonator

When this card is Normal Summoned while a Synchro Monster is on the field: You can Special Summon 1 "Resonator" monster from your Deck, except "Chain Resonator".

Tuner khá thú vị khi có thể kéo thêm 1 Tuner nữa từ Deck lên field khi lá bài này Normal Summon (trên field phải có Synchro Monster). Nếu các bạn tập trung Synchro Summon lên Red Nova Dragon hoặc Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity (OCG) thì đây sẽ là một lá bài có thể cân nhắc. Hiện tại trong các build Resonator thông thường, Chain Resonator khá bị động do cần tốn 1 lượt Normal Summon và trên field phải có Synchro Monster, một điều mà có lẽ các Deck Synchro chưa thể làm được thường xuyên.

Mirror Resonator

If your opponent controls a face-up monster(s) that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck and you do not, while this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use this effect of "Mirror Resonator" once per turn. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; treat this card's Level as that monster's original Level if this card is used for a Synchro Summon this turn.

Cũng có khả năng spam tốt như Synkron Resonator, tuy nhiên Mirror Resonator lại phụ thuộc nhiều vào đối thủ nên nếu phải lựa chọn 1 trong 2 lá bài Tuner Level 1, Synkron Resonator sẽ được ưu tiên hơn cả.

2. Những Spell/Trap Resonator

Resonator Call

Add 1 "Resonator" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Giống như E-Call của E-HERO, Resonator Call cho phép ta search bất kì Resonator monster nào lên tay.

Resonator Engine

Target 2 "Resonator" monsters in your Graveyard; add 1 Level 4 monster from your Deck to your hand, and if you do, return those targets to the Deck.

Card recycle về cuối game. Tuy nhiên, với điều kiện activate khá ngặt nghèo, chúng ta cần suy nghĩ trước khi có ý định nhét lá bài này vào Deck. Nếu Deck các bạn sử dụng nhiều Level 4 quan trọng cho combo của Deck và bạn đã feed được kha khá Resonator xuống Graveyard, Resonator Engine sẽ phát huy tác dụng tối đa.

Resonant Destruction

Each time a "Resonator" monster(s) is sent to the Graveyard as a Synchro Material: Target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target. Destroy this card during your 2nd End Phase after activation.

Nếu các bạn ham "plus" thì đây là lá bài lý tưởng dành cho bạn; còn nếu không, không có nhiều lý do để ta sử dụng Continuous Spell này.

3. Những Red Dragon Archfiend - niềm tự hào của Jack Atlas

Red Dragon Archfiend


Lá bài biểu tượng của Jack Atlas trong series anime YGO 5D's. Hầu như không có khả năng sử dụng effect của nó trong thời đại bây giờ, Red Dragon Archfiend là phương án Dragon Synchro Monster hệ Dark tạm thời thay thế cho Red Dragon Archfiend Scarlight sắp ra mắt vào đầu tháng 11 tới.

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1: You can destroy all other face-up Attack Position monsters on the field. Monsters other than this card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.

Biểu tượng của Jack Atlas trong manga YGO 5D's và effect cũng tốt hơn nhiều so với Red Dragon Archfiend. Một đợt quét sạch monster đối phương và gây 3000 dam nhiều khả năng sẽ là move quyết định trong Duel của bạn.

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss

1 Tuner + 1 non-Tuner DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster
During either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of this turn. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can target 1 Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss" once per turn.

Thường được Synchro Summon bởi Hot Red Dragon Archfiend/RDA và Synkron Resonator, Abyss là một con quái vật với sức công lên tới 3200 và có khả năng negate bất kì lá bài nào trên field đối thủ (1 lần 1 lượt). Abyss kết hợp với khoảng 1-2 Trap ở phía dưới sẽ là open game lý tưởng cho chúng ta.

Không dừng lại ở đó, Abyss còn gây áp lực khi gây damage cho đối thủ: bạn sẽ được Special Summon bất kì 1 Tuner nào trong Graveyard. Đó có thể là Synkron Resonator để tiếp tục hóa thành Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane, hoặc Red Resonator để tăng ... 3200 LP!

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane

1 Tuner + 1 non-Tuner DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster
You can Tribute 1 monster, then target 1 "Red Dragon Archfiend" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can Special Summon 2 Tuner monsters with the same Level (1 from your Deck and 1 from your Graveyard) in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane" once per turn.

Summon thông qua Abyss + Tuner level 1 hoặc HRDA + Tuner level 2. Effect không thật sự quá đặc biệt, tuy nhiên, nếu Deck bạn đang sử dụng Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Calamity (OCG), đây sẽ là lá bài giúp bạn thực hiện được mong muốn đó khi có thể trực tiếp gọi ra 2 Tuner Level 1.

Red Dragon Archfiend Scarlight (OCG Only)

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This card's name becomes "Red Dragon Archfiend" while it is on the field or in the Graveyard. Once per turn: You can destroy as many Special Summoned Effect Monsters on the field as possible with ATK less than or equal to this card's (other than this card), then inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed.

Sắp ra mắt tháng 11 tới trong set DOCS, Scarlight sẽ thay thế cho RDA như option thứ 2 cho slot Dragon Dark Synchro level 8, bên cạnh HRDA.

II. Những hướng đi cho Resonator

Phần chính của bài viết. Bài viết sẽ tập trung vào phân tích các Build, các Engine cũng như những tech card sử dụng trong các build đó.

1. Build Côn Trùng (Insect)

1.1. Engine: 

3x Retaliating "C"
3x Resonance Insect
3x Primitive Butterfly
2x Insect Imitation
1x Doom Dozer
2-3x Lair Wire

If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). Once per turn: You can increase the Levels of all Insect-Type monsters you currently control by 1.

Primitive Butterfly là tâm điểm trong build Côn Trùng. Monster Level 5 có khả năng spam cực kỳ đơn giản, có thể thay đổi Level thành 6 để Synchro Level 8 ngay lập tức với Red Resonator. Primitive Butterfly + Red Resonator + Synkron Resonator, và ta đã có ngay HRDA Abyss trên sân!

Làm thế nào để có những mảnh combo trên hand? Resonance Insect sẽ là một searcher đắc lực. Khi từ field xuống Graveyard, dù bởi bất kì cách gì (destroy, dùng làm Synchro Material), Resonance sẽ cho phép ta search ngay 1 côn trùng Level 5 trở lên từ Deck lên tay. Ta có thể search Primitive Butterfly và thậm chí cả Doom Dozer để gây áp lực và kết thúc đối thủ nhanh chóng!

If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 Level 5 or higher Insect-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is banished: You can send 1 Insect-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, except "Resonance Insect".

Làm thế nào để có Resonance Insect? Retaliating "C" sẽ là một card đắc lực trong Deck: vừa đóng vai trò hand trap hiệu quả (rất nhiều Deck hiện tại đang side Retaliating "C" để chống Infernoid, Shaddoll, Nekroz), vừa có thể search lên tay Resonance Insect và cả Maxx "C" nếu muốn tiếp tục gây khó dễ cho đối thủ.


Lair Wire là 1 Trap card phá lối chơi của đối thủ rất tốt. Hơn nữa, nếu ta banish Resonance Insect, ta có thể ném 1 Insect không dùng đến trong trận đó xuống Graveyard để "thin" Deck, và làm mồi sẵn sàng cho Doom Dozer hay Lair Wire khác.

Remove from play 1 Insect-Type monster from your Graveyard and select 1 monster your opponent controls. Destroy the selected monster.

Một combo cơ bản của build này như sau:

+ Normal Summon Red Resonator, Special Summon Resonance Insect/Retaliating "C".
+ Activate Insect Imitation, tribute Resonance Insect/Retaliating "C" để Special Summon Primitive Butterfly. Nếu monster bạn tribute là Resonance Insect thì có thể add lên tay Doom Dozer!
+ Synchro Summon Level 7-8 tùy thích. Hiện giờ Graveyard của bạn đã có ít nhất 2 Insect (Resonance Insect và Primitive Butterfly), bạn có thể Special Summon Doom Dozer!


1.2. Những tech card nên sử dụng

Maxx "C"


Search trực tiếp được bởi Retaliating "C", tại sao lại không sử dụng?

Effect Veiler

During your opponent's Main Phase: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 face-up Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate that opponent's face-up monster's effects until the end of this turn (this is a Quick Effect).

Hand trap luôn rất mạnh cùng với Maxx "C". Ngoài ra Effect Veiler còn là Tuner level 1, giúp ta dễ dàng ra được HRDA Abyss hơn. Combo đáng chú ý với Veiler để Summon ra Abyss có thể kể đến: Special Summon Primitive Butterfly, Normal Summon Red Resonator kéo Veiler từ tay xuống field. Synchro Level 8 ra HRDA bằng Red Resonator (Level 2) và Primitive Butterfly (Level 5 => 6), sau đó tiếp tục Synchro với Veiler.

Genex Ally Birdman

If this card is in your hand: You can return 1 face-up monster you control to the hand; Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field, also it gains 500 ATK if the returned monster was WIND on the field.

Birdman đóng vai trò Tuner Level 3 giúp đa dạng hóa nước đi của Deck. Với Birdman, bạn có thể Synchro Level 7 thay vì chỉ Level 6: Red Resonator Special Summon 1 Level 4, đẩy Red Resonator lên tay và Special Summon Birdman! Ta vừa được search bởi level 4 đó (Resonance Insect/Retaliating "C"), vừa có Red Resonator trên tay để chuẩn bị cho turn sau.

Soul Charge, Instant Fusion và Call of the Haunted

Target any number of monsters in your Graveyard; Special Summon them, and if you do, you lose 1000 Life Points for each monster Special Summoned by this effect. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Soul Charge" per turn.

Pay 1000 LP; Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, but it cannot attack, also is destroyed during the End Phase. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) You can only activate 1 "Instant Fusion" per turn.

Activate this card by targeting 1 monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Attack Position. When this card leaves the field, destroy that target. When that target is destroyed, destroy this card.

Cả 3 lá bài đều có mục đích hồi sinh lại những card dưới Graveyard. Hầu hết các Synchro Monster đều có thể Special Summon lại từ Graveyard nếu đã Synchro đúng cách từ trước, nên CoTH và Soul Charge sẽ hỗ trợ đắc lực cho việc comeback của Deck. Đặc biệt với Soul Charge, bạn có thể tự tin hồi sinh lại nhiều monster vì Red Resonator sẽ giúp bù lại lượng LP đáng kể!

Fiendish Chain

Activate this card by targeting 1 Effect Monster on the field; negate that face-up monster's effects, also that face-up monster cannot attack. When it is destroyed, destroy this card.

Fiendish Chain giúp negate effect, ngăn đối thủ tấn công, và cả làm mồi tái chế khi ta Synchro Summon ra Vulcan the Divine - một lá bài thường xuyên được Summon ra trong Deck!

Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Caribou

During the End Phase, if this card is in the Graveyard because it was destroyed by a card effect and sent there this turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Fire Fist" monster from your Deck, except "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Caribou". If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the Synchro Summon of a "Fire Fist" monster: You can Set 1 "Fire Formation" Spell Card directly from your Deck.

Điều mà rất nhiều người chơi Fire Fist đã trông chờ từ rất lâu: 1 Fire Tuner level 2 có thể special summon các Fire Fist level 4 từ hand. Và Red Resonator đã hoàn thành nhiệm vụ đó 1 cách xuất sắc. Caribou, 1 monster tưởng như thừa của Fire Fist, bỗng trở nên hữu dụng vô cùng khi có Red Resonator. Chỉ với Red Resonator và Caribou (cả 2 đều có thể search được qua Resonator Call và Tenki), ta có thể thực hiện combo như sau:

- Normal summon Red Resonator
- Activate effect Red Resonator, Special Summon Caribou từ trên hand.
- Synchro summon Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Horse Prince
- Xếp Chain: Horse Prince Chain Link 1, Caribou Chain Link 2.
- Resolve: Caribou Chain Link 2 Set Fire Formation - Tenki từ trong Deck và Horse Prince Chain Link 1 Special summon Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Rooster (cần phải xếp chain như thế này để Rooster không bị miss timing).
- Activate effect của Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Rooster, search 1 Fire Fist monster theo ý muốn lên hand.
- Activate Fire Formation - Tenki, lấy Coach Soldier Wolfbark lên hand.
- Activate effect của Rooster, send Tenki vào Graveyard, lấy Fire Formation - Tensu từ trong Deck.
- Activate Fire Formation - Tensu, Normal summon thêm Wolfbark.
- Activate effect của Wolfbark, special summon Caribou từ trong Graveyard.
- Xyz rank 4 theo ý muốn.


Vậy từ 2 card ta có thể search được, ta có thể tạo được 1 field gồm 1 Rooster, 1 Horse Prince, 1 Xyz rank 4 theo ý muốn rồi :D

Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear

Once per turn, when this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can Set 1 "Fire Formation" Spell Card directly from your Deck. Once per turn: You can send 1 face-up "Fire Formation" Spell/Trap Card you control to the Graveyard, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy that target.

Trong trường hợp ta không thể thực hiện combo như trên thì ta sẽ có lựa chọn chơi theo lối truyền thống: sử dụng Bear để "cày" field đối thủ và toolbox dần các Fire Formation như ý muốn. Tuy nhiên vì độ hữu dụng của Bear đang giảm dần đều theo thời gian nên việc max nó trong build này không phải là việc nên làm cho lắm.

2.2. Những tech card nên sử dụng

Reborn Tengu

When this card is removed from the field, Special Summon 1 "Reborn Tengu" from your Deck.

1 target cho Red Resonator, nhưng sẽ chiếm kha khá slot trong Main Deck của bạn. Tuy nhiên khi bạn không cần summon ra Horse Prince mà muốn summon các synchro level 6 khác như Vulcan, Red Wyvern thì có thể bạn sẽ muốn ưu tiên Tengu hơn Caribou.

Onslaught of the Fire Kings

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters: Special Summon 1 FIRE Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster from your Deck. Its effects are negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Onslaught of the Fire Kings" per turn.

Nhiều monster đồng nghĩa với việc dồn damage dễ hơn. Như vậy, ta có thể để dành không cần phải dùng Wolfbark để Xyz và bảo toàn nó cho turn kế tiếp được.
